Brad has dual degrees in psychiatry and humanities. He trained at George Washington University, and he is on faculty at the New York University’s Gallatin School of Individualized Study. He is an associate editor for the Journal of Medical Humanities. Montana Queler, PhD, LMHC is a psychologist and licensed mental health counselor. Her approach to therapy honors suffering and difference. Therapy is a place for  healing through words, stories, and a trusting relationship. Through this relationship new narrative possibilities arise, as empathy and compassion open a path for creative collaboration, leading to relief from old narratives and relationship patterns that no longer serve. As you develop greater insight and awareness, you gain the freedom to make more intentional decisions about how and who you want to be.

Montana earned a Master’s degree in Psychological Counseling at Columbia University Teachers College and a Doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology at The Derner Institute at Adelphi University. She has worked in a variety of settings including community mental health, hospitals, and college counseling, and has experience working with anxiety, depression, substance abuse, relationship conflict, psychosis, and the impact of past trauma. She is the co-author and co-editor of the book Lives Interrupted: An Analysis of Life Narratives of Persons with Chronic Psychiatric Struggles.
